Reading Ambassadors
Welcome to the Reading Ambassador page our our school website.
We are a team of 8 children - 2 from each KS2 class- and our mission is to promote a love of reading across the whole school.
We meet regularly to discuss our love of reading and to plan events in and around school to raise the profile of reading in our school.

Interactive Storytelling Week
January 2024
All the children across school voted for their favourite book of 2023 as our reading Ambassadors continue to promote a love of reading!
The Ambassadors delivered reading posters of our favourite books to each class and 2 brand new books to add to their class libraries.
We know the children across school will enjoy reading them!
Our Reading Ambassadors have hosted a few pre-loved book sales in the playground to raise funds for our 'Outdoor Library' and also set up a Book Swap for anyone wanting to exchange a book. We have now raised over £200 from reading related events and will hopefully making a purchase soon. Thank you for all the support!
Y3 Y4 Book Club
Year 3 and 4 have started a Book Club reading to the KS1 children every Thursday playtime.
